• Bi-directional Load Holding and Control: It locks the load in both directions and controls its motion, preventing uncontrolled dropping in applications like cranes or excavator arms.
• Overcenter Function with Pilot Assist: The valve holds the load (overcenter function), and a pilot pressure signal is required to precisely open the valve and allow controlled lowering of the load. The valve opening is proportional to the pilot pressure.
• Safety and Anti-Cavitation: Acts as a safety device to prevent load loss in case of hydraulic line failure. It helps prevent cavitation in the actuator during load lowering.
